Julia L. Armstrong Elementary School houses grades K – 2. The complex consists of 26 classrooms, a library, a computer lab and a cafeteria. Armstrong Elementary School was built around 1950 as a public school and is one of eleven elementary schools in the Greenville Public School District. The school has been awarded numerous awards for community participation. Recent awards include 100% staff participation for the United Way and the March of Dimes Walk America.
